A position has become available for a Business Development Manager covering the North based in our Preston office. The role reports to the Sales Manager and is responsible for efficiently maximising all sales opportunities and converting to Event bookings.
Key Tasks include:
- Managing development of new business for the screen rental department by researching new markets and industry developments.
- Formulating Sales Strategies and assisting in formulation of marketing strategy and implementation.
- Communicating effectively with team members within the Dept and Internal and External clients.
- Managing enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Producing management information.
Person Specification
- Proven sales ability and account management skills in a similar market
- Excellent communication and planning skills
- Self driven and results orientated.
- Mature, presentable and professional at all times
- Understanding of the business principles and developing strategy.
- Team Player
- Conversant with Microsoft packages
- Full UK driving license.
