QPR Take Delivery of Second digiSCORE Scoreboard
Friday, January 23, 2009 at 3:43PM Queens Park Rangers FC have recently had a second ADI digiSCORE scoreboard installed at their Loftus Road Stadium.
The new digiSCORE scoreboard beneath the Virtuality screen, installed in August 2008.Having been the first UK club to install a digiSCORE scoreboard last August, Queens Park Rangers were so pleased with it that they decided to install a further one.
The new digiSCORE sits above the goal at the School End Stand, beneath the ADI-installed 30m² Virtuality LED screen and ensures that at least one of the scoreboards is visible to everyone in the stadium.
Having launched at the beginning of the 2008-09 season, digiSCORE has proved to be an instant success at stadia around the nation. Following Queens Park Rangers, ADI have also installed digiSCOREs at Ibrox, Ewood Park and Scottish Rugby’s Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh.
Based around ADI’s legendary Virtuality LED screen technology, digiSCORE is flexible in size and shape and powered by a powerful and customisable software interface.
Loftus Road's first digiSCORE scoreboard, installed last August at the Loft End.Key elements are the simplicity and flexibility of the software – anyone can learn to use it in a matter of minutes and it recognises multiple file formats, enabling it to play out virtually any video or picture format. Content can be previewed and played out “on-the-fly” and it also features a fully customisable match clock. The ability to instantly and easily playout full screen video also allows for commercialisation of the scoreboard, with sponsors’ messages and advertising opportunities available to the club.
